It’s December. The middle of December, even. Back in June, I finished the first draft of The Unicorn Guide, book 4 of my 11 Quests series and I started in on book 5. Then, it was one thing after another and I didn’t keep on cranking through book 5. NaNoWriMo even came and went, and still I hadn’t finished the Quests of the Lost Jungle, the second trilogy of 11 Quests.
So, despite my best intentions of shipping the books during 2013, it appears that I will release them in 2014. I’m angling to pick up writing now. I’m happy overall with how The Unicorn Guide turned out (and you can see for yourself because the first draft book is still available for reading right here) and I’m looking forward to telling more of the story. There are many kids I know that are waiting for the next installments, and I hope I’ll be able to match their expectations!
